Timelines

Commissioned works can take anywhere
from 3 to 6 weeks for completion depending
upon size and other projects.
|

Please tell me your ideas for your project:
Examples: Colors, pieces from my collection that
inspired you, favorite creatures in previous paintings
and so on. Give me some ideas on where I can have
complete creative freedom and some elements of
things you really want. Go ahead and brainstorm
here. Take as much space as you need, the more
info the better.

Deposit
|

Once you have decided you would like to go
forward with the commission I will send you
an invoice for half of the final amount
(deposit). These funds will be used to
purchase your canvas, glitter and paints
needed for the project. The rest of the
amount will be due once the piece is
completed. Please note that all shipments
to a location in California will be subject to a
7.25% sales tax on the whole amount.
Please check the box if you are using a gift
certificate towards this commission.

*Once I receive this form I will review it and respond back
to you within 72 hours. I will send you a quote with my
ideas and a breakdown of the piece, i.e., size, cost, and
projected date of completion. After reviewing the quote
you will be prompted to let me know of any changes and
confirm you would like to go forward. Once you confirm, I
will then send you the first invoice for the deposit. For
clients using a gift certificate, I will send you an invoice for
the amount being used for the deposit and the remaining
amount. You will be responsible for any amount due in the
final invoice that goes over the alloted gift certificate
amount.
Once initial payment received, I will send you preliminary
sketches and a photo each week of the progress being
made.

Seeing the Process
|
|
|
|
A unique element I offer to my commission
clients are digital photos each week of their
piece in process for free. This feature helps
you to feel a part of the creation of the work
and show the child who receives the painting
how the painting was made. If you are
interested in a printed version of the photos
I am happy to compile them for you and
include that with piece. This service creates
an interesting dimension for those receiving
the commission as a gift. In order to cover
print costs I will add a charge of $3.50 to
your final invoice or you may print them out
at home for free.
